Copan FFA had their 95th annual Banquet this year. We were able to celebrate all these kids accomplishments give out degrees and have a great time. I’m very proud of these kids. They have done a phenomenal job this year and I can’t wait to see what they do next year. Congratulations to our senior Samuel Thornton for all of his accomplishments and below is your new Copan FFA officer team.

Today is the day come out and support our kids as we celebrate this year’s accomplishments!

This year we were able to take quite a few kids, to the state FFA convention on the first day! We had an awesome time at the convention we thank our members for being a part of the courtesy corp helping out Oklahoma FFA.

Thank you to all of our supporters who helped get our chapter and kids to the convention!

Your first time in the ring isn’t supposed to be perfect.

It’s supposed to teach you something.

My first time in the ring:
I went into my first ever pig show with no idea how to even show an animal. When they called my class, on the way to the ring my pig went through the crowd. Then once I got in the ring, I was holding my whip straight up and down and ran into the judge a ton of times. I ended up getting last in my class.

What I learned:
I learned to listen to people more and actually hear the advice they give. And to work harder than you think you should.

How it impacted me:
That moment made me fall in love with showing. I didn’t want to lose, so I worked harder and got help. Now I’m at the top of just about every showmanship contest I’m in.
