A 501(c)3 non-profit organization that distributes food and personal care items to those in need residing in 75428, 75422, 75448, 75449, and 75469 on Thursdays from 2 to 4pm. It is housed at the First Presbyterian Church of Commerce and is governed by a board of directors and staffed by volunteers. Individuals and families who live in the Commerce area and who demonstrate a need are eligible to re
ceive food assistance once each month. Applicants are requested to provide valid identification and proof of residence within the service area, which includes the following zip codes: 75428, 75429, 75422, 75448, 75449, and 75469. The church office accepts donations on behalf of the pantry Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. Monetary donations may be mailed to Commerce Food Pantry, P.O. Box 269, Commerce, Texas 75428.
