Nothing like finishing a hole with a little bit of hip music from our friend Tyler and enjoying great company out on the course. At Small City Slicers, we truly appreciate all the love and support from our community. We love being able to support local small businesses, attend community events, and give back to the people who continue to support us. That’s what it’s all about — coming together, helping one another, and building something special for our town. It’s officially time to start signing up for our 2nd Annual Golf Scramble!

We have had great success in past events with all the support from the teams who have signed up and we truly appreciate it!

We are in full prep mode for our 2nd Annual Small City Slicers Golf Tournament on July 11th, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make this event fun, successful, and memorable for everyone involved! Volunteers will receive a free meal, great company, and the opportunity to be part of an amazing community event supporting a great cause. Whether you’re interested in volunteering for the first time or returning from last year’s event, we would love to have you back. Please reach out if you’d like to help us make this year’s tournament another great success!

Marshall Obol out here looking like Babe Ruth on the tee box — calling his shot before absolutely launching one down the fairway. At this point, we’re not even sure if it was golf or a live reenactment of baseball history. 😂
Huge congratulations to Marshall and the crew for taking home the tournament win with a 17-under performance! Thank you guys for coming out, supporting a great cause, and putting on an absolute clinic out there. We appreciate every one of you!

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Jason Prorok and the entire Prorok family for joining us at the Small City Slicers Mental Health Awareness Scramble at VanBerg Golf Course last weekend. Your support, kindness, and presence truly meant a lot to us and our community. Please continue to keep the ProRok family in your thoughts and prayers as they’ve endured so much over the past few years. You meet some pretty good people hanging around golf courses, and the crew from Spalding was no exception. A couple of the guys even knew my grandma from Greeley, Nebraska, which just proves Nebraska really is one big small town. Great group of gentlemen, a lot of laughs, and of course we had to settle things the only proper way — closest to the pin on Hole 1. I’m not saying I carried the team… but I was apparently the only one who actually found the green. Always good meeting new people, sharing stories, and reminding everybody that golf is mostly friendship… with just a little bit of bragging rights mixed in.
