ATTENTION: There is a rumor that has been going around recently that we "The Platte County Food Pantry" is closing. This is NOT true!!!!
We want to take this opportunity to extend our Thank You to all of you that continue to support us with food and monetary donations so that we can continue to help those in need.

It's early, I know, but I have an idea for all of you! This year's Can Care-A-Van will be Thursday June 25th from 9:00-3:00. As usual we will be located in the Pizza Ranch Parking lot where you can drop off your donations.
So here's the idea. From now until then, when you go to the grocery store pick up just one or two extra items. (anything non-perishable). Save them in a bag or box. then you can just drop them off with the volunteers on June 25th. Start this week and you will have gathered 14 items to donate.
We (and all the families that need help) would really appreciate it.

Due to the extremely cold weather, the Platte County Food Pantry will be closed today. Friday, January 23, 2026. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Wednesday Nov 26th- Closing at 11:30
Friday Nov 28th - Closed
Wednesday Dec 24th - Closed
Friday Dec 26th - Closed
Wednesday Dec 31st- Closing at 11:30.
We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.

You know the holidays are approaching and we'd hate to not have enough food to give out to people, but we have had to make adjustments to the groceries that we give out because our donation are down so..... much. Our food donation so far this year are only about 1/3 of what we had just 2 years ago. Also, our monetary donation are extremely low. If you can help us out at all, we would really appreciate it.

2025 Can Care-A-Van is scheduled for Thursday June 12th. The Platte County Food Pantry will set up in the parking lot of Pizza Ranch in Columbus to accept your monetary or food donations. This will help allow us to serve Platte Co. families in need of assistance.
