📣The movie has been set and…Drum roll please 🥁 ‘Remarkably Bright Creatures’ is the chosen movie! Starring Sally Field and Lewis Pullman. The Netflix drama Remarkably Bright Creatures follows Tova, an elderly widow who works as a night janitor at a small-town aquarium. She finds joy and unexpected connection again when she bonds with Cameron, a drifting young man, and Marcellus, a highly intelligent, elderly giant Pacific octopus who secretly narrates their journey.

What an incredible day at the First Annual Southside Pride! 🎉
There was a fantastic turnout filled with great food, amazing vendors, wonderful entertainment, and most importantly, community. It was such a joy to meet and connect with neighbors—both longtime residents and those who have recently made Southside their home.
Events like this remind us how special our community truly is and how much we can accomplish when we come together.
A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make this event possible. From setup to helping throughout the day and staying for teardown, your hard work, dedication, and positive energy made all the difference. We simply could not have done it without you!
Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and supported Southside Pride. We can't wait to see what next year brings! ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏡

Exciting news over at the Urban Forest on Kossuth. It looks like new planter boxes, soil and fresh gravel are being put in today. Sign up soon for all those with a green thumb who would like to garden there this summer!
