Special K is unique as we offer life-long residency for our ranchers. Special K Ranch is a place where people who have developmental disabilities live, learn, and work with loving caring advisors who are committed to strengthening living skills and building personal and community relationships. This is being accomplished by family oriented living with only four residents in each home. They are rec

eiving guidance from live-in home advisors and learning independent living and vocational skill by being responsible for personal care, household maintenance, ranch production, and involvement in the community. Everyone works together in the horticulture and livestock programs to help the ranch become as self-sustaining as possible. Until these goals are reached, the program will need financial assistance from charitable support.

Even though it rained most of the day, we still had a fabulous Friday Funday. First the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary and then an alpaca farm. The residents LOVED feeding the alpacas.

Join the Law Enforcement Torch Run at MacKenzie River Pizza for our Tip-A-Cop fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Montana. Law enforcement officers and athletes will be assisting with service, collecting tips, and engaging with guests – all to raise funds and awareness for our athletes. Every dollar raised helps create more opportunities for inclusion and competition across the state.
