Fishtail Family Fun Days Parade & More!

Calling all horses and riders!
Please come show your pride for our club and ride with us in the Fishtail Family Fun Days Parade!

All horses, riders, and mules welcome. The more the merrier! The only thing we ask is please make sure your stock is safe.
This is a public event that rides from Grove Creek Road turnoff through the town of Fishtail, MT.
We turn around by Fishtail School then ride back through town to our trailers.
Stay after for a tasty lunch and shopping!

Please RSVP so we can get an accurate head count, thanks!

Event: Fishtail Family Fun Days
Date: Saturday, June 27th
Time: 9:45 am (parade lineup is at 10:30am, we need to make sure to have time to tack up, make ourselves and horses fancy, and ride to lineup)

Contact: Sarah Lewis - Call or Text 406-780-9500

We will ride together to staging area by Grove Creek Road.

This is a great parade to ride in with a group. Whether your horse is new to parades or a seasoned veteran, all are welcome!
We are hoping to have a couple mules as well.
If you would like to pull a pack string that would be great to!!! We want to showcase our amazing club for the public.

We try to dress to match as a group.
In celebration America's 250th please wear a blue or red shirt with your BBCH vest if you have one, blue jeans, and a cowboy hat.
NO DOGS for parade, please. It's just too much of a risk.

If you would like to practice riding through town before parade day, please contact Sarah Lewis 406-780-9500 and we will set up a time to do so with you.

We will also have a booth with information about our club. So, if riding in the parade is not for you, we are looking for a couple volunteers to come man the booth and visit with the public.
We would love to have teams of 2 at the booth. Please reach out to Sarah by call or text.

Please reach out with and questions or concerns!

Thanks,
Sarah Lewis

Please join us this Friday June, 12th at 10:30am at the Belfry Trailhead as we celebrate the opening of over 6,000 acres of land to horseback riding, made possible through our collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management.
We invite all members with horses to participate in a ride on these newly accessible trails.
If you plan to attend, please respond to this post to help us gauge attendance.
Thank you. BBCH Board

West Fork of the Stillwater (Initial Creek)

I am excited about this weekend!
Lots of work to be done and lots of fun to be had around the campfire!
We need to get a head count as soon as possible and also try to figure out if people are coming up on Friday or Saturday.
This will help organize the event and make it run smoothly.

If you were not at the meeting last night, we have three possible trails to clean: the West Fork of the Stillwater, which is crosscut and the longest of the trails.
We can also cut Castle Creek and Rabbit Gulch, both are chainsaw and much shorter.
We would like to get this accomplished on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have any questions about this trip, please feel free to contact myself (Sean Chepulis) at (406)581-3904
or Jeff at (406)321-3463.
Please RSVP to this email as soon as you know if you'll be coming.
Thanks and look forward to hearing from you soon!
