Next week is Earth Week! 🌎 Join us in celebrating our planet through activities all week long.

The Sustainability and Environmental club is raffling off a kayak and a hiking basket (gear duffle, gear roll, backpack, water bottle, hammock, etc). Earn a chance to win for $1. The final raffle drawing will be held on Friday at noon in the CAF Lobby.

For each day of Earth Week, you can also participate in our scavenger hunt to each chances at the raffle.
To participate, you must
1. Follow lwu_sustainability on Instagram
2. Post a selfie following the theme of the day on your Instagram story and Tag
Participating in the scavenger hunt is a free way to earn a chance in the raffle. Submission gets you a free entry for both raffles each day. Each person is limited to one submission per day. See daily prompts for more details.

Join us on Wednesday the 22nd to celebrate Earth Day with our Paint-a-pot event on the Quad from 1-3pm. Free pots and spider plants are available while supplies last! πŸͺ΄

Through the week we will also have SES Senior Capstone Presentations, Honor’s Society for Sustainability induction ceremony, on campus speakers, and Bingo hosted by SAB. Join us this Earth Week to celebrate! 🌎

This week students were able to explore Cacao agroforestry, small mammal/bird identification, the diversity hotspots that can be found in the tropics, Hicatee turtle conservation efforts, climate data collection, and land conservation management.
