On August 1st, at the Everybody Welcome Cultural Heritage Festival, members from JASSC and the Fujiyoshida delegation represented both our organizations and our sister city through Japanese cultural activities, such as folding Origami, making paper lanterns, and playing with Kendama. Volunteers assisted children with writing their names in Katakana on bookmarks to take home. The festival was held on the Colorado College campus.

This will be a practical 90-minute session led by JET alum Daniel Lowe (Chiba, 2011-2013), founder of Boston Intercultural Consulting and Japanese Circle.

By the end, participants will learn how to:
Validate a business idea in a single weekend
Get your first paying customers without a website or ad spend
Build real experience that shows up on your resume
Whether you're seriously considering entrepreneurship or simply curious about alternative career paths after JET, this session will offer helpful insights and actionable strategies to help you get started.
