⭐ NLBRA COMPETITOR SPOTLIGHT: CARLEE HAYS ⭐

Meet Carlee Hays, 16, from Queen Creek, Arizona! 🤠

Carlee competes in breakaway roping, team roping, and barrel racing. This year, she qualified for the FIRST EVER Jr. Iron Maiden at the NLBRA Finals, earning an exciting opportunity to compete on a bigger stage!

🏆 Carlee’s accomplishments include being the 2026 Arizona State Champion Header in team roping, the 2024 Arizona State Champion in breakaway, and the 2024 Reserve Champion Heeler in team roping. She has also qualified for the $60,000 bonus round in PWR breakaway!

When she’s not rodeoing, Carlee enjoys playing volleyball, learning new dances, and trick roping. With her dad as her coach and her mom as her biggest cheerleader, she has an amazing support system behind her as she continues to chase her goals.

We’re proud to have Carlee as part of the NLBRA family and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next! 💚

Meet jordan Steele
Jordan competes in tie down, steer wrestling, and team roping. The horses Charlie (TR) and Donna (SW) helped him achieve these titles.
Some accomplishments he has achieved are winning the team roping at the IFYR in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He
won a round in team roping in the years 2024 and 2025 at the NHSRA, he won the all-around cowboy for WKYLBRA 2026, and he have also won the KYHSRA all-around the past 3 years.

Meet Eli Foster, 18, from Triumph, Illinois! Eli competes in team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, and ribbon roping. This year, he earned the opportunity to compete for the Jr. Ironman, a goal he had worked toward all year. With his horses Marley and Goose by his side, along with the support of his family, Eli has built an impressive rodeo resume as a 4x NHSRA National Qualifier, Illinois State Champion Team Roping Header, and multiple-time reserve state champion. Now competing on the ENMU-Ruidoso rodeo team, Eli hopes to make the College Finals. For Eli, being a champion means hard work, character, and setting a good example for the next generation. One of the most rewarding parts of the NLBRA has been the friendships and connections he’s made along the way.
