NLBRA RULE CHANGE DEADLINE – AUGUST 31, 2026

NLBRA members, do you have an idea for a rule change that you believe would strengthen our organization or improve our rodeos?

Proposed General and Event Rodeo Rule changes must be submitted to the NLBRA National Office no later than August 31, 2026.

Rule change proposals must:
• Be submitted in writing
• Be signed by the person submitting the proposal
• Clearly state the proposed change and the reason for it

Congratulations to 15-year-old Kobe Pinckard of Pace, Florida, on becoming the 2026 NLBRA World Champion Steer Wrestler!

In just his second year as an NLBRA member, Kobe capped off his freshman season with a World Championship, a moment he says is hard to put into words. His dedication and hard work throughout the season came together when it mattered most!

Kobe was blessed with six horses to help him along the way: Ms. Cool, Fire Truck, Butterknife, Houdini, G2 and Bolt. He also gives credit to his family, friends and rodeo family for the support they have given him throughout his journey.

Outside of rodeo, Kobe enjoys working cattle, working on classic trucks, fishing and hunting. His goal is to keep learning, improving and becoming more consistent as he works toward winning more championships and eventually competing professionally.

Kobe also recognizes the people who have helped him along the way, especially Mr. Cody Miller, whose work ethic and dedication to helping Kobe practice and improve have made a lasting impact.

Congratulations to Charlee Ramsey of Philip, South Dakota, on an incredible 2026 NLBRA Finals! Charlee captured the title of 2026 Junior Girls Breakaway Roping World Champion, while also earning Reserve World Champion Junior Girls All-Around Cowgirl and finishing 4th in the world in Junior Girls Trail. 🏆

With Annie and Lu by her side, Charlee put in the work and proved that dedication pays off. Lu, her 6-year-old breakaway horse, helped carry her to the World Championship, while Annie has been her trusted partner in the Trail Course.

A seven-year NLBRA member, Charlee has already earned a 2024 Reserve World Championship in Breakaway Roping, a 2024 SDJRA State Championship, and the 2023 SDJRA Rookie of the Year title.

Behind it all is a family that keeps her moving forward, especially her dad, who is there to run the chute, push calves, haul to rodeos, and help Charlee become a better roper and person.

⭐ Hand-drawn or digitally created artwork is welcome, but it must be your own original work.
