🍄 A new side quest has appeared in Downtown Colorado Springs.

🎨 To celebrate Game of Shrooms 2026, Common Root Collective is sharing a limited number of creative kits at Eclectic CO Downtown beginning June 5th

✨ We invite artists, curious creators, dreamers, and fun explorers of all ages to come create a fungi friend 🍄‍🟫

🌎 Game of Shrooms is a free global art-n-seek event happening on June 13th, inviting artists around the world to hide mushroom-themed artwork for others to discover. Follow to learn more and join the adventure.

We got Sam loaded up last night and she’s out delivering all weekend 🚙

This is our biggest creative connection Bloom Bag delivery yet — reaching participants navigating transportation, location and mobility limitations with creative self-regulation tools.✨

Huge thank you to our board member and volunteer extraordinaire for stepping in and making sure these made it where they needed to go!

Being able to watch our very first program grow in this way fills our hearts with so much joy. It’s truly an honor to do this work. 🩷💚💛🩵

Some of us were taught to push through instead of being supported.

What looks like burnout isn’t a lack of effort — it’s a nervous system that’s been carrying too much, for too long.

This is why access to creative spaces, rest, and regulation matters. It’s not extra — it’s essential.

Instead of saying “no one wants to work anymore” and “people are lazy” why don’t we ask: WHY?

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

This year’s theme, More Good Days, Together, reminds us that a “good day” looks different for everyone—and that access to support matters.

Erasing stigma is part of that. Even unintentional bias—like telling someone to “just choose to be happy”—can minimize real experiences and make it harder for people to seek support.

At Common Root Collective, we focus on creative, self-guided practices that support positive mental wellbeing through regulation. These are simple ways to reduce overwhelm, improve focus, and create small moments of stability in everyday life.
