Every mile of the Continental Divide Trail is a labor of love — and our new film shows you exactly what that looks like.

From volunteers on remote ridgelines to the partners and communities who keep the trail alive, "Labor of Love" goes inside the year-round work to complete and protect all 3,100 miles of the CDT.

This is the work your support makes possible. And right now, through our Match the Moment spring appeal, your gift goes even further.

Watch the film and meet the people behind the Divide: https://cdtcoalition.org/new-film-labor-of-love/

Behind every strong climber is someone who taught them how to tie in, how to train, and how to love the sport.

The PPCA is proud to announce the awardees of the first Steve Cheyney Scholarship. This annual program aims to promote stewardship of our alpine playground and continue the long tradition of mentorship and camaraderie among alpine climbers of the Pikes Peak region.

This would not be possible without donations from the Mountain Chalet, our individual donors, and to the Pikes Peak Highway for their generous discount.

We chose to name the scholarship in honor of Steve, who has served as a mentor of climbers for generations, as well as a deep well of local history.

Over the next year, we will work to connect the Scholars with local guides and mentors to help develop and refine their skills.

Please welcome Brent, Beau, and Trask!
