PIKES PEAK OUTDOOR RECREATION ALLIANCE is an initiative to make the incredible natural and recreation assets of the Pikes Peak area an economic driver for our region. Led by a partnership between the

Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance and the Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau, Outdoor Industry Leaders, businesses, and non-profits. Health and quality of life are now key determining factors in where people and businesses choose to locate. Our outdoor recreation opportunities can compete with any in the country, and are attracting participants from all 50 states and other countries. We are looking for key stakeholders who would like to shape the future of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region creating a unified voice for our community and our most valuable resource-THE OUTDOORS.

We’re excited to be tabling at the Beers & Gear Expo this Saturday, May 30 at Bristol Brewing Company at Ivywild School!

Come say hi, learn more about Pikes Peak Outdoors, connect with local outdoor groups and businesses, and celebrate everything that makes the Pikes Peak region an outdoor adventure hub.

The day includes:
- 9am Group Trail Ride at Stratton Open Space with Stewards of Stoke
- 11am–3pm Outdoor Expo at Ivywild School
- Live music from Ty Gibbs
- FREE axe throwing with Tempered Tomahawk
- Great beer and outdoor community vibes all day long

Whether you’re into running, climbing, camping, biking, fishing, paddling, snow sports, or just getting outside, there’s something for everyone.

🎣 Trout ’n Trails is Tonight! 🎣

Join PPORA, Rocky Mountain Field Institute and Trails and Open Space Coalition tonight from 6–8 PM at Angler’s Covey for an evening of outdoor fun and community connection - no matter the weather!

Try your hand at fly tying, casting demos, and entomology activities, hear updates from all three organizations, and enjoy New Belgium beer, snacks, drawings and giveaways.

Tickets are available at the door—come hang out, learn, and support the organizations protecting our trails and outdoor spaces!
