More than 32,000 veterans experience homelessness across the U.S. every night.

While veteran homelessness has declined significantly over the past decade, the fight is far from being over.

This World Homeless Day, October 10, we’re reminded that ending veteran homelessness is within reach – with stable housing, mental health support, and coordinated services.

At HMFN, we’re helping connect veterans and their families with the resources and support they need.

Sometimes a car is more than a car. It’s a step toward stability, independence, and a brighter chapter.

Stories like Jackie's are a small glimpse of why we do what we do.

With just 3 weeks until the 10th Annual Honoring the Brave℠ Breakfast, we’re grateful to thank our Gold Star Sponsor and keynote speaker, John Register Inspired Communications International, LLC for supporting Home Front Military Network.

John will share his powerful story of loss, resilience, and what happens when the mission changes — and how his new mission became even bigger, leading him to become a Hall of Fame Speaker and Paralympic Medalist.

For military members and their families, life can sometimes take an unexpected turn, whether through transition, loss, a career change, or a new challenge. Sometimes, we have to rethink the mission, look at what’s possible, and discover what’s waiting beyond the path we originally planned.

As John says, “Sometimes we become so committed to the route that we mistake it for the destination.”

When the mission changes, having a community to help navigate what comes next can make all the difference. That’s what HFMN is here to do: stand alongside those who have served and connect them with the resources they need to move forward.

Join us on October 26 to hear John’s story and be part of our biggest fundraiser of the year. Registration is open through October 16, so make sure to reserve your spot in time!

We’re grateful to welcome additional Bronze Sponsors supporting the 10th Annual Honoring the Brave℠ Breakfast on October 26!

As our biggest fundraiser of the year, this event helps keep the mission of Home Front Military Network moving forward — serving those who have served.

Last year alone, HFMN assisted 5,400+ service members, veterans, and family members and responded to 18,000+ calls for assistance when support was needed most.

Thank you to our newest Bronze Sponsors for helping make that support possible. Your generosity helps us be there when it matters most.

With our biggest event of the year, the 10th Annual Honoring the Brave℠ Breakfast, just around the corner, we’re taking a moment to say thank you to our Gold Star sponsors who are helping make this special morning possible.

We’re grateful to Amentum for their ongoing support of Home Front Military Network and Colorado’s military and veteran community.

We’re also thankful to The Broadmoor for welcoming us back and providing such a wonderful setting for a morning dedicated to celebrating those who serve and those who have served.

And we’re looking forward to hearing from this year’s keynote speaker, John Register Inspired Communications International, LLC, whose remarkable story of service and resilience will bring a unique perspective to an already meaningful morning.

There’s still time to join us on October 26th!

🍂 October 🍂 is one of the most exciting months at Home Front Military Network!

We’re looking forward to crisp fall days, changing leaves, and yes… a few Trunk or Treats along the way. We hope to see some of you out there!

But October also brings our biggest fundraiser of the year: the 10th Annual Honoring the Brave℠ Breakfast.

This is more than just a breakfast. This event provides a significant part of the funding that makes our work possible. It helps us support Colorado’s military service members, veterans, and families through financial uncertainty, housing insecurity, and other urgent needs — so they can regain stability and thrive.

So, bring on October: a little fall fun, a little Trunk or Treat magic, and a whole lot of support for our military and veteran community.

As September comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who helps Home Front Military Network continue our mission of supporting those who served.

This month was filled with emotion, remembrance, and important conversations about mental health. These conversations matter, and we hope to keep them going as we move into a new month and toward the end of the year.

Thank you for listening, showing up, sharing, and helping us remind our service members, veterans, and their families that they are not alone.
