Centennial Post 209 Junior Shooting Sports Program

The Spring Session of the Post 209 Junior Shooting Sports Program is winding up. Next week is the last week for the Marksmanship students to finish up the current levels they are on. The Young Guns students will be having their competition next week.

The JSSP Awards Night is Wednesday April 15th at 6:00pm. We will be presenting the awards the students have earned during the Spring Session. There will also be plenty of pizza for everyone to enjoy as part of the celebration recognizing the students (or to help some parents try to forget how bad Tax Day was this year).

The NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) develops NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Firearm Training Courses. During the course, candidates will learn NRA policies and procedures, basic public speaking skills, training methodology, use of a training team and training aids, organizing a course, building a budget, and finally preparing to teach.

NOTE: required for all new NRA Instructors and current NRA instructors if it has been more than 24 months since you attended this class. The NRA requires instructor candidates to retake it prior to taking another instructor level course. The fee is discounted. Contact Pucci Associates for more information.

Specializes in professional, quality education and training for those interested in learning and becoming skilled in fi****ms and personal protection, CPR and First Aid, scuba and diving first aid. Basic through instructor levels of training are offered in the Arizona and Colorado areas.

The Spring Young Guns Course has begun. While it's a low number of students signed up, the session will still be successful - youth learning the safe handling of fi****ms is what matters. The students even put a few rounds down range the first night.
