😁 It’s National Smile Week!

For people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), accessing affordable dental care can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why we want to highlight a resource that may be able to help: Dental Lifeline Network’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) program.

DDS connects eligible individuals who cannot afford needed dental treatment with volunteer dentists and dental laboratories that donate their services. For people with disabilities who have limited financial resources or few options for accessing care, this program can be an important resource. 🦷💙

Dental health is about so much more than a smile. Access to the right care can support a person’s health, comfort, confidence, and overall quality of life.

This National Smile Week, help us spread the word so that people with IDD, their families, caregivers, and support teams know that resources like DDS are available.
