The Arc Pikes Peak Region is excited to join our community for TWO fun-filled fall events this weekend! From trunk-or-treating to fall festivities, there's something for the whole family to enjoy.

🎃 TONIGHT, Friday, October 9 | PASCO Resource Fair & Trunk or Treat

Join us at Springs Learning Community for an accessible and inclusive evening of costumes, candy, games, community resources, and connection!

Time: 4:30–6:30 PM
Location: 3535 Parkmoor Village Dr., Colorado Springs

🍂 TOMORROW, Saturday, October 10 | First & Main Fall Fun Fest

We'll be joining the fun at First & Main Town Center's 5th Annual Fall Fun Fest! Enjoy costume contests, face painting, pumpkin crafts, vendors, games, prizes, and more!

Time: 11 AM–3 PM
Location: 3305 Cinema Point, Colorado Springs
Admission: FREE and open to the public!

Our Mobile Universal Changing Station (MUCS) will also be on-site at First & Main, helping make this community celebration more accessible for everyone!

ACTION ALERT: Tell Congress to Protect Medicaid and SNAP!

Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are lifelines for millions of people with disabilities and their families. These programs help people access health care, put food on the table, and receive the supports they need to live, work, and thrive in their communities.

But recent changes to these programs are creating new challenges. Funding cuts, paperwork delays, and confusing requirements are putting access to essential benefits at risk, even for people who qualify.

Your voice matters, and now is the time to use it!

The Arc Pikes Peak Region encourages our community to speak up and make sure Congress understands how important Medicaid and SNAP are to people with disabilities and their families.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!

This year’s theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” recognizes the skills, perspectives, and contributions people with disabilities bring to workplaces and communities every day.

At The Arc Pikes Peak Region, we believe people with disabilities deserve the same opportunities to find meaningful work, earn fair wages, grow in their careers, and be valued for what they bring to the workplace.

Throughout October, we’ll be sharing some exciting stories that highlight employment, inclusion, and the talents of people right here in our community. Stay tuned and help us celebrate!

Colorado’s General Election is coming up on Tuesday, November 3, and it’s important that we not only get out and vote, but also understand what we’re voting on.

Ballot language can be complicated. That’s why our friends at THINK+change created a 2026 Colorado Ballot Breakdown in plain language. The guide breaks down the amendments and propositions on the ballot, including what each measure is about and what a YES or NO vote would mean.

The guide is available in English and Spanish and includes access to audio descriptions, helping make election information more accessible to everyone.

Grab your costumes and get ready to do the Monster Mash! Join us for an evening of dancing, costumes, treats, and family-friendly Halloween fun at our Annual Halloween Dance.

This year, we’re adding even more Halloween fun with a Trunk or Treat! Come dressed in your best costume, check out decorated vehicles, collect some treats, and don’t forget about our costume contests!

Want to join the Trunk or Treat?

We’re looking for organizations and community partners to help make the night extra special! Decorate a vehicle with a fun, family-friendly Halloween theme and hand out candy, treats, or merchandise from your organization. Candy will be provided by The Arc-PPR, so all you need to bring is your creativity and Halloween spirit!
Trunk or Treat participants should plan to be onsite from 5:00–9:00 PM.
