A Doll for Every Girl

A Doll for Every Girl A charity hoping to provide every girl with an American Girl Doll of her own. I'm a sixteen year old girl, starting a charity to bless girls in need.

I was inspired by the grand opening of the American Girl Store in Denver. There were hundreds of girls in line with their mothers, many spinning and twirling with their dolls. This experience was truly for the privileged, myself included. I believe every girl should have this opportunity. I am collecting used American Girl Dolls to donate to girls in need. The first of which, will be given to thos

e affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire, currently burning in Colorado Springs. I realize American Girl Dolls are expensive and last a lifetime. So I understand if you are hoping to hand yours down to your own daughter someday. However, it is this beauty that I want to pass on to girls who would not be able to have such a doll without us. If you do have one with which you are willing to part, I know of some girls who would be very blessed.

Awesome blessings from an awesome girl!
Over the summer Alyssa gave us two beautiful American Girl Dolls. She is a 15-year-old, living, breathing, example of generosity. Her mom shared with us that Alyssa had bought dolls with her own hard earned money back when she was a little girl. She had dressed them up in their many outfits, styled their hair, and loved them. When she heard about "A Doll for Every Girl," she opened her arms and gave them to us, accessories and all! Alyssa, you're AWESOME! More to come on how the dolls became new again and most exciting, their delivery to their new homes...
