Helen's strength has already taken her to incredible heights and at this year's Labor Day Lift Off, she had the opportunity to soar even higher! 🎈💛

Helen is a cancer survivor and a participant in the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region's LIVESTRONG® program, which helps cancer survivors regain their strength, confidence and sense of community following treatment.

A special thank-you to our partners at Comcast/Xfinity for giving Helen this unforgettable hot-air-balloon experience. And thank you, Helen, for allowing the YMCA to be part of your journey and for inspiring us with your courage and resilience.

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA provides cancer survivors with personalized fitness support in a welcoming community of people who understand the journey. Together, participants work to rebuild their strength, improve their overall well-being and embrace life beyond cancer.

🚨 TONIGHT AT 6 PM—LET'S DOUBLE OUR IMPACT! 🚨

Daren Girling, our VP of Operations and Downtown YMCA Executive, has the game plan! 🏀⚽🏈

Beginning at 6:00 PM tonight, donations to YMCA Youth Sports have the opportunity to be matched dollar for dollar. $10 can become $20, and $50 can become $100!

A few important reminders:
✅ Have your account and payment information ready before 6 PM. You may also donate as a guest.
⏰ At exactly 6:00 PM, press Pay—not before!
⚡ Move quickly! This is a statewide match, and last year the funds were claimed within approximately five minutes.
🔗 You must donate through our YMCA Colorado Gives page to be eligible:
https://www.coloradogives.org/donate/PPYMCA
Every gift helps give a child the opportunity to play, grow and belong. Let's get off the sidelines and into the game for our kids! 💙

Not every child has the same opportunity when it comes to sports in the Pikes Peak Region. Through Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day, you can help provide financial assistance so more kids across our community can get in the game.

Giving begins September 1 at 6:00 PM MT, and timing matters! Last year, the available matching funds were claimed within just minutes, so we encourage you to set up your profile and payment information in advance and be ready to give right at 6:00 PM for the best chance to have your gift matched dollar-for-dollar.

Give what you can and help another child have the opportunity to play, grow, and belong.
Donate directly to the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region:

Back to School. Back to the Y.

As the school year begins, families across the Pikes Peak Region are preparing for more than classrooms—they're also planning for safe, reliable care before and after school.

The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region's Before & After School programs serve 20+ school sites across our community, helping children learn, grow, and belong outside of the school day. We are raising funds for Child Care Financial Assistance so every child has access to this support, regardless of financial barriers.

Gifts of $250 or more qualify for a Child Care Tax Credit.
