Our K5 students became little scientists today as they explored the fascinating world of fungi! 🍄 With careful observation and creativity, they studied mushrooms up close and created their own detailed sketches. From caps to stems, every detail mattered as they learned how God designed even the smallest parts of nature with purpose and beauty.

Hands-on learning like this helps our students grow in curiosity, wonder, and confidence—one discovery at a time!

Our students have been diving into the world of photosynthesis, fungi, and mold—and what better way to learn than with a hands-on experiment!

This week, they started growing mold on bread (yes… a little gross, but very exciting! 😄). They’ll be bringing their experiments home to watch the transformation continue and see science come alive right before their eyes.

Did you know? 🌱
Vascular plants (also called tracheophytes) have a built-in transport system—called xylem—that moves water, nutrients, and sugars throughout the plant. This system allows them to grow tall and thrive in many environments, unlike non-vascular plants like moss.

In our botany class, we explored both vascular and non-vascular plants—and even created our own moss model to better understand how non-vascular plants function!

Learning comes to life when students can build, explore, and create! 🙌
