There are many homeless families in Colorado Springs.

We are a doctor, a former law enforcement officer, and a retired nurse who have personally witnessed the plight of our homeless families in Colorado Springs. We established this organization to gather up compassionate individuals and establish a coalition to provide items, food, supplies to help these families during there darkest times. We are small hands against tremendous forces and we know we are not alone. Together we can make a difference.

These are families here in our own community racked by food and housing insecurity, many of whom are fleeing violence and abuse. RJ Montgomery Shelter is the only shelter in El Paso County that accepts homeless families. It is always at capacity and short on supplies. The children and families alone go through over 45 gallons of milk/week. We communicate regularly with the shelter for their needs and will place those requests out to this community of helping hands (that’s you!). The need is so great, anything you can do will help these families.
