We're so proud of our incredible 8U team for fighting hard and taking home silver medals as the finalists in the Colorado Springs Summer Baseball League! Playing up against older 9 and 10-year-olds challenged our boys all season, but they rose to every single challenge with grit and heart. Congrats to the Redwings who took home the gold! Paul Geering

We wanted to share a quick progress update on our shoe drive fundraiser: 👟🥿👠👞🥾👡🩰🩴

So far, we’ve collected about 1,500 shoes!!!! We have 60 bags, each with 25 pairs of shoes, and we want to get up to 2,500 shoes (100 bags)!

We’ve been amazed by how many pairs of shoes people have found that were just sitting around no longer being worn! It’s hard to believe that an estimated 300 million pairs of shoes end up in America’s landfills each year.

Our shoe drive runs through ***July 13*** so there’s still time to donate! If you have any gently worn, used, or new shoes - of any type - that you’d like to contribute, we’d be happy to pick them up from your porch in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.

THANK YOU for helping keep shoes out of landfills while supporting our Peak Baseball players in reaching their dream of playing baseball in Cooperstown next year!

We truly appreciate your support! Please share!

Copying a post from Peak Baseball 10U Coach Pat’s page 🥰:

How was your Father’s Day!?! How about some scenes from a Walk-Off to cap off mine!?!! Bases loaded, 2 outs in the last inning! This is the stuff you play out in the backyard at home just dreaming about it!

The best part is the kid who ripped the game winning hit to CF was up for his final at bat with our team. After being with us for the last 2 years, he is moving to Arizona.

Before the at bat I called timeout and looked him in the eyes and told him no matter what, you swing hard and be fearless! He did it!!! What a magic moment for him and for our team! Wow!!! 🏔️⚾️🫶💯
