SoulCare Retreats Exists to "Extravagantly love leaders who fight injustice, offering them a space to know their worth, rest, begin to heal, play and build, safe, like-minded community."

Our next retreat is in 2.5 weeks in Orlando, Florida!! We have 8 leaders ready to come away. Today I'm sending them gift cards for pedicures so they can prepare their toes for the sun... but we want to LOVE LOVE LOVE them in every single way.

Their jobs are often thankless and unseen. Serving in ways that cost them dearly - and not just because they don't make much money! But cost their hearts and souls dearly. They recklessly love across the world in costly ways, unseen to most of the world. So when they arrive to us, weary - our desire is to open our arms and say to them "we represent people around the world who want to say to you 'rest weary one. you are worth it. you TOO are worth healing. you TOO are worth resting. well done, good and faithful one. thank you for your hard work. we see you. we see what it cost you."

So -- we try for every single love language!!! Gifts are one way YOU can be a part of this message to these leaders. Can you buy/make/send 8 presents to 8 weary leaders? It can literally be ANYTHING!! Do you love to shop at Target? Go for it! Are you online shopping today? Add it to your cart! Do you make candles/earrings/cards/etc? Make some up this week! Is there something I didn't mention? Go for it! Whatever you can think of, let's go for it. We give anything from candles to chocolates to music to gift cards to picture frames to blankets to coffee mugs to clothes! You name it! If it's a gift, we can include it! We just ask that you send one for each of the 8 ladies coming!

One week until our next SoulCare Retreat where we get to LOVE 8 leaders who fight injustice around the world!!

We are busy creating all sorts of fun surprises and dreaming up ways to love them WELL and love them EXTRAVAGANTLY when they are with us!

Did you know our retreats are 100% FREE? The leaders only pay for their flights and we fundraise for the approximately $6,000 of each retreat cost. It’s because at Heal and Thrive Global we believe in pouring into those who pour into others!! Also? The only way leaders can come is if they are nomimated by a leader who’s come before!!

Annnnnnd the best part is that the sisterhood simply BEGINS when they show up for the retreat! Oftentimes, however, those connections sustain and encourage leaders years and years past their retreat!

WE CAN’T WAIT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH 8 MORE LEADERS AND THEIR WORK!!!

SoulCare is changing its name! Why? Because we are expanding beyond our retreats!

Hosting retreats once a year means gathering a new group of 8 leaders each year. Which means we have lists upon lists of leaders and we just don't want to wait that long to bring each of them into the community!!

Heal + Thrive Leaders will offer:

1-2 retreats each year
+
2 coaching cohorts for 8-10 leaders for 10 weeks of zoom coaching and community
+
Individual coaching for nonprofit leaders in nonprofit management/leadership or personal development with one of our soulcare mamas
+
speaking engagements as needed for organizations or conferences that desire to see their leaders heal + thrive!

With this new plan, our entire board and team are excited to pour into more leaders who are making a difference around the world. We LOVE what we do in globally (check out Heal and Thrive Global and Heal + Thrive Belize) and getting to be involved in organizations right here in the US as well as around the world THRILLS us!

This team. They poured themselves out this week so that precious world changing non-profit leading ladies could understand more fully their value and sink into it. It might seem crazy to have a team of 7 to serve 8 ladies --- but it was beautiful. Our SoulCare Mamas serve and cook and touch in such a special way as they nurtured these amazing women. Abby and Erin offer their gifts of photography and massage that go far beyond what anyone expects and create sacred experiences. Each time, we are overwhelmed by the goodness of God that we have the honor of loving leaders and providing a place of rest and extravagant love and healing. I'm so thankful for this team, their willingness to serve and their hearts for ministry. As one leader put it today "we may be the hands and feet out in the world, but you are the hearts that pump blood into us so we can keep going." Thank you team!!!!! I ❤️ you!!!!!
