Southern Colorado Impact Group Advancing a Purpose-Driven Marketplace through consumer education and support

The Colorado Institute for Social Impact seeks to promote the Fourth Sector of our economy. This new sector uses the powerful economic engine of capitalism to create massive value for communities by creating social impact. These businesses are a combination of a traditional for-profit business model mixed with a higher purpose or a mission typically found in the nonprofit sector. These hybrid busi

nesses have many names - social enterprise, conscious capitalism, certified B-corporation, social business, and other new forms of business. The appearance of a new sector is not something that happens on a regular basis and we should take note of its ever growing number of businesses across Colorado and the nation, as it is attracting entrepreneurs, millennials, and small businesses. The goals of CI4SI:

Promote businesses that are interested in generating social impact

Build awareness and education of this emerging sector

Provide entrepreneurs resources and training to get started

Provide a forum for like-minded individuals to push this sector forward

Strengthen those already impacting our community

Create a community for this sector
