Meet Kia Coquoz! She will be leading a devotional and worship time followed by a contemporary fusion class for a special open Jubilee Arts Collective studio time!
Open to intermediate/advanced teen & adult dancers who would like to gather in community to meet with God, each other, and our dancing bodies. Come be blessed, make new dancing friends, learn, and worship through dance!
July 15, 10am- 1pm, at Ormao Dance Studio, 10 S. Spruce St.
$20 class fee at the door, cash or card.
Kia Coquoz grew up training in multiple styles of dance in Grand Junction, Colorado. After graduating college from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Southern California, she became one of the founding members of Reverent Rhythms Performing Arts Company, dancing for them from their first show in 2018 through their first touring season in 2021. Since then Kia has danced all over the country for Dance Revolution, Open Sky Connecticut, and Open City. She has taught at studios in Colorado, Illinois, New York, and a brief teaching trip to Uganda for Reverent Rhythms.
Currently Kia is dancing for a Hip Hop Crew that tours with the Dance Revolution dance convention and teaching at a studio in Upstate New York. Kia is passionate about leading others in worship through dance. She loves to lead students, teachers, and audiences to feel the Lord’s presence through movement and performances. She is an advocate for high quality movement technique and expressing a heart of worship through all dance styles. Kia has a passion for jazz, contemporary, modern, jazz funk, and hip hop.
