Colorado Springs’ biggest developer, Norwood, is trying to develop a luxury hotel in our city’s oldest working class neighborhood using $10 million in public funds. If they’re gonna use public funds, they need to provide public benefits to the neighborhood.

Mill St residents are at an increased risk of being displaced by rising housing costs, with most being renters or homeowners on fixed income.

Come tell city council this Tuesday the 24th at 10 am to table their vote on Norwood’s urban renewal money until Norwood negotiates a legally binding Community Benefit Agreement with the neighborhood.
