Rocky Mountain Rapids Swim Team Colorado Swim Team We have others who are just starting out in the sport or simply wanting to prepare for competition as high school swimmers.

Our Vision:

We believe that providing an environment for all swimmers to achieve their individual best is the right vision for the Rapids Swim Team. WOW! WHAT A WEEKEND โ€” PART II ๐ŸŒŠโค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

This time, some of our Rapids took on Horsetooth Open Water in Fort Collins!

๐ŸŒŠ Asher H. took the OVERALL WIN in the 1.2-mile swim โ€” across both wetsuit and non-wetsuit swimmers! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ”ฅ

And our coaches got in on the action, too! Coach Rob tackled the 1.2-mile swim, while Coach Lexi went big with the 2.4-mile swim. ๐Ÿ’ช

Water temp: 69ยฐ
Distance: definitely more than 100 meters ๐Ÿ˜
Rapids representation: ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Turns out our swimmers โ€” and coaches โ€” do just fine without lane lines. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐ŸŒŠ

โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค Celebrating Bob & Kristen! ๐Ÿ–คโค๏ธ

What a special afternoon this past weekend celebrating the retirement of Bob & Kristen Jenkyns and an incredible 89 combined years dedicated to the sport of swimming. ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ

From coaching and mentoring to shaping generations of swimmers, their impact reaches far beyond one team or one pool. Weโ€™re incredibly grateful for the years they shared with the Rapids family and for the lasting mark theyโ€™ve made on our swimming community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, share memories, and send Bob & Kristen into retirement with lots of love!

And a huge thank you to JAKs Taproom Old Ranch and Bellaโ€™s Bagels for helping make the celebration so special. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

Congratulations, Bob & Kristen โ€” 89 years well spent! ๐ŸŽ‰
