Flashback to one of our premier projects completed in 2014 located at Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs. Concrete Couch and Smokebrush Foundation worked with students from Community Prep School to honor a youth, Alan, who had passed away in an auto-pedestrian accident. The design of the duck was based off a drawing Alan made of an odd-looking duck. Students cast concrete for the base, welded the internal armature, and made a profusion of eclectic tiles which celebrate life and Alan.

Summer Camp 🏕️ season is here! We’re going big this summer with our flagship summer programming such as mosaic, clay, art, science and construction 🚧 for kids 9+! We’re adding in a weekly pups camos for kids 5-8! And they’ll be dual language English/Spanish 🙂! Then we’re adding in after camp programming as well!!
