The mission of FYDC is to impact our community for His Kingdom through the arts.

We provide students with a healthy and Christ-centered training environment with the opportunity to receive pre-professional training and performance experience. Established in 2014, Fidèle Youth Dance Company is a performance division of Turning Pointe Dance in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Students audition in the

Spring or Summer and rehearse on Saturdays from the season kick-off in July through the final performance of the season in mid-November.

Members of Fidèle (French for “faithful”) work with guest instructors to expand their vocabulary and skill sets in dance and acting. Students participate in weekly Bible study, worship dance and devotion time, and are assigned to prayers groups that allow students to connect, encourage and support each other through fellowship and prayer.

Time for a logo wear refresh! These brand new styles will be available for purchase this Saturday, August 22, at the Back to Dance Bash! Come visit the FYDC table between 3 and 5 p.m. at Turning Pointe School of Dance. You might even catch a few of this year’s cast members performing at a mini class!

We've met the leaders, now let's meet the FYDC alumni helping with our auditions and epilogue!

✨Ms. Jessica danced five years with FYDC, performing both lead and ensemble roles including Lady Pearl in "Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor." She served in student leadership throughout her time in the company, and will study Communication Sciences and Disorders at Samford University this fall.

✨Ms. Lacy danced 10 seasons with FYDC, performing roles including Knowledge in "The Pilgrim's Progress," Mauve in "Bring Her Home," and Professor Skylark in "Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor." She plans to study English and Classics, in addition to serving as a co-creator for this season's epilogue piece.

✨Ms. Anna danced 10 years with FYDC, performing roles including Clara in "The Prince," Pliable in "The Pilgrim's Progress," and Mariah Lyons in "Christmas at Sugar Plum Manor." After co-creating this season's epilogue piece, Anna will spend nine months participating in The World Race, serving a missions-based gap year and spreading the gospel around the world.

Fun fact: All three of this year's alumni assistants have served in FYDC Student Leadership, and worked together in El Salvador on the FYDC Missions Team in 2024 AND 2026!

Interested in joining Fidèle Youth Dance Company, but not sure where to start? Join us for an Audition Workshop on Tuesday, June 2, from 4:30-6 p.m. at Turning Pointe Dance!

Students will experience a one-hour simulated audition in a no-pressure environment, complete with prayer, tips, and feedback from FYDC leadership. Parents will join the last 30 minutes for discussion and Q&A with FYDC leaders, alumni, and parents who have been through the process and production season before.

Leave the day feeling prepared and confident about what to expect, and walk away with practice approaching an audition experience with a God-centered mindset!
