So excited for the return of the puppy truck tomorrow. Our club has two pups coming and two going. Welcome “home” Brooks and Gretchen!

The Puppy Truck is coming! The truck will be delivering 12 cute puppies this Saturday, June 13th at 5:30pm at the Hampton Inn 5500 Stone Creek Cir, Loveland.

Colorado Springs, CO puppy raisers and pups visited the Colorado Springs Airport recently and met some dog loving TSA agents. Thanks Karley and Eric for arranging this outing! Thanks Eric for taking the amazing group picture where everyone including the pups are looking at the camera.

Garden, a 7 month old female yellow (red) Labrador, attended the GDB’s Walk for PAWSitive Impact event today In Denver. She brought along the Morgan’s to help hold the club banner and her treats.

We had a blast searching for the Humpty Dumpties downtown last night. We practiced different surface areas, street crossings, traffic, and calm settled behavior. We finished at Josh & John’s for some yummy ice cream!

We had a wonderful outing at Fire Station #24, Colorado Springs newest Fire station. Puppies in Training and their families were joined by puppy sitters and career change dogs. We had a tour of the Station (I have kitchen envy) and even met a firefighter in full gear, with and without the face mask. Thanks to Pat and Marilyn Morgan for arranging this educational and fun outing for us. A huge welcome to the team of firefighters who welcomed us with smiles and open hearts.

K9 Buddies evaluation
Phase - In Home Observation�K9 Buddy evaluation dogs spend a minimum of two weeks in a trained volunteer observation home, typically with children. Volunteers submit photos and videos of various behaviors and scenarios and complete a questionnaire form to provide insight into the dog’s current tendencies in a home environment.
Xandy:
Phase 2 - verbal cue “over here” is introduced, more challenging distractions, pattern training continues allowing dogs more freedom to make decisions, planned distraction routes, up curb #2, obstacle course increasing in difficulty
