Since 1977, DAPPR, formerly CSDT, has had the pleasure of presenting professional dance companies such as Dance Theatre of Harlem, Ballet de Montreal, Sydney Dance Company, Ballet Folklorico de Mexico, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and over 100 more! 🚨Tickets are on sale NOW for the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema Screening!

Experience an evening where dance, film, and community meet. Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema, a local nonprofit dance film festival, and the Dance Alliance of the Pikes Peak Region are collaborating on a special screening featuring Colorado-based films and artists alongside international films. This curated lineup highlights work representing the diverse dancers of the Front Range and beyond, of various ages, abilities, and styles.

The screening will run approximately 60 minutes with no intermission, followed by a 15–20 minute Q&A with local filmmakers — a chance to hear the stories behind the films and connect with the artists shaping our region’s creative landscape.

This original show features a full cast of dancers as well as special aerial acts and an MC. Bursting with high-energy, big tricks, and sassy personalities, this show follows a group of dancers as they pull off a heist! From the initial theft to the Wild West to Vegas-themed scenes, Master Plan brings dynamic choreography and storytelling together into an entertaining evening packed with surprises, laughter, and unforgettable moments!

Join the Dance Alliance and the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema for an immersive, hands-on workshop exploring the dynamic intersection of dance and film. Led by Rosely Conz (Assistant Professor of Dance, UCCS), this session introduces participants to the fundamentals of screendance using accessible tools like cell phones alongside creative choreographic strategies.

All are welcome (ages 12 and up!). You’ll gain practical skills and new perspectives on how movement can be shaped for the screen. Come experiment, collaborate, and discover the possibilities of this exciting art form!

The Peak School of Dance's Summer Intensive

This two-week program, running July 20 - 31, is designed for dedicated dancers looking to refine their technique, build strength, and grow as artists. Dancers will experience a comprehensive training program following PEAK curriculum, including: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theater, Precision Jazz, Choreography & Improv, Conditioning for Dancers & Injury Prevention, Pilates, Nutrition with our in-house licensed dietitian, and MORE!

Broadway Workshop | The Lion King

Dance with the rhythm of the herd and the heart of a lion. This wild workshop is open to all dancers ages 5 and up. Dancers will receive up to 5 hours of training with a focus on musical theater dance, tap, contemporary, and ballet. At the end of the week, dancers will perform their choreographed dances. Dancers will be served dinner before the performance.
