We are honored to welcome Toi Washington-Reynolds as the Keynote Speaker for our upcoming EmpowerHer Sexual Violence Conference.
Toi Washington-Reynolds is the Founder and Director of the Trans Women of Color (TWOC) Healing Project, established in Birmingham, Alabama in 2019 and later relocated to Georgia in 2020. The TWOC Healing Project is dedicated to speaking knowledge to power, combating the erasure of trans lives and narratives, and uplifting the invaluable contributions of trans women of color within society.
Through this work, Toi is committed to raising awareness and fostering visibility for trans women of color, their families, communities, and movementsensuring their stories remain an integral part of the greater tapestry of humanity. Based in Newnan, Georgia, the organization serves multiple communities across rural Georgia, including Coweta County, South Fulton, Troup County, and Muscogee County.
Her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to equity continue to create meaningful and lasting impact and we are honored to have her share her voice with us.
