HELLO PARADIGM SHIFT FRIENDS & FAMILY!
Paradigm Shift has existed for 18 years with the singular goal of equipping followers of Jesus to move from charity alone to lasting transformation. Business-savvy volunteers are trained to walk alongside microentrepreneurs as they build stable, dignity-centered livelihoods.
Since its founding in 2008, the Paradigm Shift program has been offered by over 150 churches which have mobilized 2,550 volunteers. These men and women have trained over 22,000 microentrepreneurs and supported 108,000 dependents.
Entrepreneurs’ businesses have grown, which means their families have better access to new opportunities and more nutrition, education, and healthcare for their families. Volunteers from churches have combined their business expertise with their faith to serve hurting communities in a very real way.
TIME FOR A REVAMP & UPDATE
The Paradigm Shift courses were last updated nine years ago, and now require thoughtful revisions to reflect major changes in today’s social, political, economic, and technological landscape.
To remain effective for a new generation of microentrepreneurs, the content must address current realities such as mobile-first business tools, digital finance, circular markets, and changing dynamics in their communities.
The updated courses will strengthen practical skills, become more cultural relevance, and integrate practical, real-world application while staying aligned with Paradigm Shift’s mission.
Over the next eight-months, a highly qualified team will work to complete a full update of the materials which includes more than 900 pages and hundreds of visuals.
This in-depth process will include reviewing existing materials, identifying gaps, modernizing examples and language, and integrating current best practices in entrepreneurship education.
The result will be refreshed, accessible, and impactful courses that better equip microentrepreneurs throughout Paradigm Shift’s programs to build sustainable businesses and stronger communities.
