🚧✨ School of Excellence - WE NEED YOUR HELP! ✨🚧
Did you know the Chinook Trail Elementary PTA has been participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program this year?
The program focuses on partnering with families, teachers, and our school community to identify real needs and create meaningful improvements for students.
Earlier this year, many families shared concerns about the heavily used walking trail near the school that had become eroded, uneven, and unsafe for daily student use. In response, the PTA partnered with school leadership and community stakeholders to complete a trail remediation project focused on improving student safety, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.
The project included:
✅ Trail grading and stabilization
✅ Erosion mitigation
✅ Improved walking paths
✅ Long-term drainage improvements
Now we need YOUR help for the final step!
As part of the School of Excellence, we are asking families and community members to complete a short follow-up survey so we can measure our progress and submit our final application to National PTA.
