The mission of WMBA of COS is to build and empower a community of women through group mountain bike rides.

The Women’s Mountain Bike Association of Colorado Springs is a volunteer-run non profit organization founded in 2008. We host weekly mountain bike rides in the summer and encourage riders of all abilities and skill levels to join us. Our rides are led by volunteer ride guides, many of whom also compete for our race team. The Women's Mountain Bike Association of Colorado Springs welcomes all women and strives to be free of all forms of discrimination, not limited to: Age, race, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting colder, but there’s still time in 2026 to have some fun on bikes! Join us this Saturday our Halloween social ride!

🎃Date: Saturday, October 24th
🎃 Time: 10 am rollout
🎃 Location: Pulpit Rock Trail Parking Lot (across the street from Trader Joe’s and just south of the UCCS baseball field)

This is a no-drop, social MTB ride open to all lady shredders - members and non-members alike! As always, costumes are highly encouraged!

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Susan Richardson Kolbush received the Outdoor Industry Emerging Leader award from pikespeakoutdoors! As many of you know, Susan is the WMBA Board Chair, and she expertly oversees every aspect of our non-profit. She has also worked with great dedication to connect WMBA with recreation and industry partners in the region. We are extremely lucky to have her. Congrats Susan!

HEY WMBA FAM! We need your creative genius! We’re making preprations to launch a new line of WMBA apparel in 2027 and we want YOU to help design it!

✳️ 3 Design Categories: Race Team Kit, Member Kit, Member T-Shirt
✳️ All submitted artwork must be original or used with appropriate permission.
✳️ Must be a current WMBA member at the time of submission.
✳️ Members may submit up to two (2) designs per category.
✳️ Submission Deadline: October 30, 2026

If your design is selected, it will be featured on 2027 WMBA apparel, and you’ll receive a free shirt or jersey with your winning design.

Who’s stoked to ride the new trails at Blodgett Bike Park this Thursday?!? We certainly are! Please remember that we start at 5:30 p.m., and parking is at the Quarry Trailhead parking lot. We have a very long wait list for this ride, so if you registered and cannot attend, please cancel your registration immediately so that other riders can join. Also, given the space limitations at the park, we will not be able to let you ride with us if you are not registered. Looking forward to Thursday!
