Today, I really enjoyed Dr. Benke’s presentation on his multidisciplinary Rett Syndrome clinic. It’s nice to see so much work here in Colorado on such a rare disease. Can you imagine if doctors took this approach to complex care? We’ve got so many unable to find quality care for their complex needs, and it really doesn’t have to be that way.

For those attending the Colorado Rare Disease Fair I’ll be there with these chronic illness trading cards!!! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone!

For those new to this page, Maladiemon are chronic illness trading cards. They are a chronic and rare disease awareness campaign with QR codes on the back for more information about the symptoms or illness highlighted.

I have multiple chronic and rare diseases and always joke that I collect them like Pokémon, so I made cards to hand out at events.

They aren’t for sale and are purely to raise awareness.
