Happy Down Syndrome Awareness month.

We're grateful .... that God blessed us with you , even for a short time . Far too many people attach a stigma to special needs , as if people born with deficits per-say are less than . Less than what? Us messed up, banged up , over thinking indulgent normal folk? God gave us you and kids like you to teach us all to be a little more humble, thoughtful, introspective .

Less is more and unconditional love is given away freely by child like for a lifetime kids. You taught us more in the 3 years you were with us than most folks learn in 50 years of going around the mountain in order to come full circle with themselves.

We're grateful. For you , to God , for us.... that we got to experience you , beautiful you . Forever changed , forever loved.
