Vivian Cobb was our club speaker on Wednesday at Patty Jewett Golf Club. Show here with our Club President 3G Sheldon. The topic of her speech was: Breaking the Silence: Relationships-Saving Conversations: The most damaging conversations aren’t the ones that go wrong. They’re the ones that never happen.

In this personal and practical talk, Vivian Cobb uses her own experience with financial silence and the devastation it caused as the doorway into every hard conversation we’ve been putting off. Whether it’s money, health, future plans, or the things we’re just too afraid to say out loud, avoided conversations don’t disappear. They quietly erode the relationships we count on most.

Today’s speaker was our own member, Lloyd Nordhausen. Along with other Rotarians from our area he visited and did project work at the Chinle community in the Navajo Nation.

Last Saturday July 27 th, we delivered 75 boxes of palisade peaches! During a storm! We were drenched but We kept the peaches dry!! Thank you for all that supported us. We raised $1800!

The North Colorado Springs Rotary Club is excited to be at Mitchell High School today for the Backpack Bash! We're honored to be part of this incredible community event, helping students and families get ready for a successful school year.

A wonderful anonymous member donated Palisade Peaches, purchased through our recent fundraiser, to Eastlake High School. Delivered to them today. This is part of our commitment to childhood education and literacy.
