The memorial is in the Memorial Park - Ring of Honor in Colorado Springs, CO. Your support is paramount to continuing our mission to see our nation's working dog heroes be always honored, respected and cared for in their retirement after a lifetime of service protecting our troops, civilians and interests both domestically and abroad. The War Dog Memorial in Colorado Springs is a place where Milit

ary Working Dogs and Contract Working Dogs past, present and future are honored and remembered. The Memorial a place where individuals will learn about our nation’s War Dogs and be a place of reflection for those whose lives were saved by these amazing hero dogs. Because of their selfless devotion and loyalty, many husbands, wives, sons and daughters have returned home to their families. These noble warriors work tirelessly in scorching heat, freezing cold, blinding sand and torrential rain without complaint. They sustain injuries, risk their own lives and have died protecting our troops, civilians and freedoms. We built this Memorial to give these heroes with fur the honor and respect they have earned and deserve. For generations to come this memorial will stand to honor our nation's working dog heroes. The War Dog Memorial Colorado is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization. EIN #82-0821206. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
