4 Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! 6 I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

7 So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. 8 Then as I watched, muscles and flesh formed over the bones. Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them.

SLM Outreach 8/8/26!
Of the 15 people we engaged with on Saturday's outreach, a common theme was..."I was a believer a long time ago and think I still am ? OR I am trying to get closer to God". We were able to pray with some and to encourage each person. One walked away, after speaking with him and taking our monetary gift a little disgusted but intrigued said : "For crying out loud!"

Oppression is real and can take on many forms but one is to keep a believer from believing, in the dark so to speak and cut off (seemingly) from hearing, receiving and listening to/from God. We all might have moments when we "feel" more distant from God than other times, but the truth is that what Jesus did on the cross to bring us into relationship with God settled Him ever being distant from us, forever.

So much could be said here but if you are a believer, stay that way and don't be easily talked out of God's love for you.
