Growing food, serving our community, and strengthening relationships along the way!

The Sacred Heart team recently visited Mountain Springs Hydroponics, where they helped harvest lettuce and plant new crops for local food banks.

Experiences like this provide meaningful enrichment while creating opportunities for young people and volunteers to connect, learn, and work side by side. It was a wonderful day of giving back, trying something new, and growing relationships!

There’s nothing quite like cheering on the Switchbacks from a private suite!

Thanks to the generosity of Laura and Jeremy, several of our Fostering Adulthood young people and volunteers enjoyed a special night together at the game. For young adults who have aged out of foster care, opportunities like this provide a chance to relax, have fun, and experience what it means to be included.

The Upper Room is moving—and putting down roots!

Our space for Fostering Adulthood youth to come and hang out during the week has moved to a new, permanent home. This welcoming “third space” gives young adults a place outside of work or home where they can relax, connect, receive support, and simply belong.

More than a building, this space represents stability and possibility. It will be a place for shared meals, meaningful conversations, celebrations, activities, and the everyday moments through which lasting relationships grow.

We’re excited to make this new space feel like home and grateful to everyone helping us begin this next chapter!
