Pikes Peak Makerspace (PPM) is on the lookout for a dynamic and visionary leader to take on the role of Executive Director. If you're passionate about the maker movement and have a knack for strategic leadership, this part-time position could be your perfect fit!

Why PPM?
As the premier makerspace in the Pikes Peak Region, we provide a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation thrive. Our mission is to empower makers of all skill levels to turn their ideas into tangible creations.

Role Overview:
The Executive Director will spearhead both strategic initiatives and oversee daily operations, working closely with our dedicated staff to ensure PPM's growth and sustainability. Key responsibilities include community engagement, fundraising, strategic planning, and fostering an inclusive maker community.

What We Offer:
Compensation: $1,500/month
Benefits: Complimentary PPM Membership, Employee Discount, Flexible Schedule

Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategic partnerships with community leaders and local businesses
Lead fundraising efforts through grants, sponsorships, and events
Oversee daily operations alongside the Membership and Operations Managers
Foster a strong, inclusive community by engaging with members and promoting collaboration

Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit management
Strong background in fundraising and community engagement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for the maker movement and familiarity with makerspace culture

Check out what one of our members, Ben Y., created on the ! When asked, "Is the three-tone accomplished with multiple passes or halftone patterns?" Ben said, "Two passes. One for the light tones and depth, and then another pass with borax to make it black. I'm really happy with them."
