We'd like to take a minute to welcome the newest members of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and the Pikes Peak Chapter. These outstanding NCOs earned the privilege of being inducted through their hard work and determination and are the embodiment of the professional Soldier, the Creed of the Noncommissioned Officer, and the club values. "You lead from the front."
The EUCOM SMC would like to congratulate SFC Johnson, SSG Rolon, SSG Johnson of the 11th MDB and SSG McClemens of the 13th MDB. Their performance during the Phase IV Selection Board displayed their ability to set themselves apart from their peers and earned them an induction to the SMDC Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and award.
The Sergeant Audie Murphy Award (SAMA) is an elite award for NCOs whose leadership achievements and performance merit special recognition. The SAMA is a means of recognizing those NCOs who have contributed significantly to the development of a professional NCO Corps and a combat ready Army. Awardees exemplify leadership, characterized by personal concern for the needs, training, development, and welfare of Soldiers as well as concern for the families of Soldiers.
The EUCOM SMC is very proud of all of these outstanding Non Commisioned Officers!
