Springs Elite is excited to announce our latest Coach to come on board, Tyler Merwede! Please join me in welcoming him to the Springs Elite staff!

Coach Tyler Merwede is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Sierra HighSchool and has been coaching baseball for more than 20 years, including 6 years at the high school level. He has spent much of his career working as an outfield and baserunning coordinator, with an emphasis on strong fundamentals, smart decision making, and consistent effort. His coaching approach focuses on helping players understand the game, play with confidence, and embrace their responsibilities within the team.

Proud to welcome Jared Kashwer as our new 13u HC.

Jared brings strong pitching expertise and a lifelong California baseball foundation to Springs Elite Baseball in Colorado Springs, CO. A Bakersfield native, Jared competed on local club teams and continued his playing career at Bakersfield College, where he refined the discipline, mechanics, and competitive mindset that shape his coaching today.

With additional experience in coaching and officiating across multiple sports, Jared is known for his clear communication, steady leadership, and ability to help athletes grow both on the mound and as young men. He is excited to invest in Springs Elite players and help them develop into confident, capable adults through the game he loves.
