Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District

Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District The Friends of PPLD, established in 1955, supports and promotes our local public library district. Since 2000, we have contributed $1.9M to PPLD!

We operate used bookstores at East Library, Library 21C and Penrose Library. Friends bookshelves are also available at all other PPLD locations. The money we raise from book sales, donations, memberships, and special events gets donated back to PPLD in support of our community.

Join us to celebrate National Upcycling Day! Bring your creativity—find materials to inspire your next project: broken books, disks, vintage ephemera, magazines, and more. Everything is available for any donation (minimum $1 per lb). Plus a delightful selection of “other treasures found in our donation box." Proceeds benefit the library.
