The Bob Oldach Memorial Tournament 2025 benefitting SOCOYFC programs, will take place at the Colorado Springs Country Club on August 18th! Every June for a number of years, the Denton Bible Church Youth Choir From Denton TX, has come to minister to the kids in the facilities SOCOYFC serves. Through song and bible-based skits, they impart the Gospel Message to kids in lockdowns and treatment centers in Denver and Colorado Springs. They begin rehearsing in September every year along with raising funds to go on the trip. They also pray for each remanded individual they will encounter. The love of Jesus and their hearts for hurting kids is evident in their performances. They are a blessing to all who get to see them! Thank you Denton Bible Church Youth Choir for coming, and we hope you will continue to do so for many years to come!

Had a great time at The Road at Chapel Hills - Missions Day Sunday. Talked to lots of great people who wanted more information about coming alongside troubled kids as a SOCOYFC volunteer!

Our Thanks to Pastor Marcus Vigil for making us feel so welcome! Thank you also to my friend Janie who was my stalwart companion, helper, and knew where the coffee was!! 😅

Our office is filled from wall to wall with gifts for the kids. God has blessed this ministry with means to shower the facilities we serve with gifts of love! Thank you to the donors and supporters of Youth for Christ in the Southern Colorado area. You make it possible for volunteers to share the Christmas story this season. Celebrate Jesus!

Thank you Pastor Paul from Restoration Church for the opportunity to share with the body of Christ. Being able to speak about how the Lord uses us to reach lost children, never gets old. I was so blessed by the response I received from potential volunteers after service last Sunday. God is good!

YFC Juvenile Justice Ministry

“Providing a place where troubled youth understand they are created with purpose, are pursuing that purpose through a YFC Coach Mentor and balanced programming, leaving their old life behind; not continuing on in a cycle of brokenness.”

Southern Colorado Youth for Christ (SOCO YFC) is a local chapter of Youth For Christ/USA.

OUR VISION: Our vision is to reach out to troubled teens inside and outside of a variety of youth serving institutions, giving them an opportunity to make an informed decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of the local church.

OUR MISSION: Our mission is to reach teens who are in or out of institutions such as detention centers, group homes, correctional facilities, and residential treatment centers. We are committed to long-term relationships with our youth. Our focus is ministry that emphasizes the spiritual, physical, mental and emotional aspects of life. Ultimately, presenting them with the person, work, and teachings of Christ and walking along side them.
