At tonight’s Fountain City Council meeting, Lisa Langley with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 38 presented Fire Chief Devin Graham and Fountain Fire Department with a check for $1000.

The money comes from the Auxiliary’s monthly dinner fundraiser.

The City of Fountain greatly appreciates this donation and the many other efforts by the American Legion to positively impact the Fountain community.

On Saturday, August 29, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the main meeting hall will be repainted. The Building Board is asking for at least two volunteers from each organization (Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons, Riders) to assist. A team of six to eight people would be greatly appreciated, and food will be provided at the end of the shift.

Please message American Legion PFC Floyd K Lindstrom Post 5 if you would like to volunteer and help.
