The -- crafted exclusively by Gina Uhart (Food & Beverage Supervisor of The Antlers, A Wyndham Hotel), for the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Southern Colorado - PACCSoCo's 3rd Anniversary Gala -- is a vibrant tropical cocktail that celebrates the enduring spirit, sacrifice, and contributions of the Filipino diaspora whose legacy helped shape communities across the Pacific and beyond.

This refreshing libation features premium Philippine "Kasama" rum, bright pineapple juice, the iconic calamansi flavor, and a touch of sweetener, creating a perfect balance of tropical sweetness and citrus brightness.

Every ingredient tells a story.

The and the pay tribute to the thousands of Sakadas โ€”Filipino plantation workers who journeyed to Hawaii between 1906 and 1946 to labor in the pineapple and sugarcane fields.

Their hard work, perseverance, and resilience laid the foundation for future generations of Filipino Americans and remain an important chapter in our shared history.

The represents the distinct flavors of the Inang Bayan (Motherland) that are unique to the Philippines.

The Philippine honors the craftsmanship and agricultural heritage of our homeland.

Together, these ingredients create a cocktail that is both refreshing and meaningfulโ€”a toast to heritage, community, and opportunity.

The in the cocktail's name? It represents the rays of sunshine under which the Sakadas bent to till Hawaiian soil.

As we celebrate three years of PACCSoCo's commitment to fostering business, cultural pride, and community, we raise a glass to the pioneers who came before us and to the bright future we continue to build together.

Join us on July 25, Saturday, 5pm onwards at The Antlers Hotel, for PACCSoCo's 3rd Anniversary Gala, and have a glass of .

We not only wear our roots and heritage on our sleeves, we drink them up!

Mabuhay ang !
Mabuhay ang mga sa Colorado! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฅƒ

*There will be a mocktail version of this drink.

"Malayong lupain, amin mang marating
Di rin magbabago ang damdamin."

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan, Pilipinas! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Happy Philippine Independence Day! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Freedom is not merely a remembrance of the past, but a pledge for the future. May we continue to embody the spirit of unity, respect, integrity, and service to one another and to our Motherland.

As Filipinos, wherever we may be in the world, let us carry with us the honor, diligence, compassion, and resilience that are the true hallmarks of the Filipino people.

We are the heirs of a rich history, and we are also the builders of a more prosperous and stronger Philippines.

As our flag proudly waves, let us remember that true freedom comes with responsibilityโ€”the responsibility to be good citizens, to love our country, to show respect and care for others, and to serve for the greater good of all.

Long live Freedom!
Long live the Philippines! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ
