Future Me Badge

This is a badge that Grown Ups and their Girl Scouts earn together! It is FREE and can earn you $100 in a College Invest Account for your Girl Scout. Check it out!

Hey caregivers of Girl Scouts in elementary school, do you ever wonder what your girl will be doing in 10 to 20 years? It’s great to be in-the-moment while she’s learning to read and write or making her first attempt at science fair greatness, but you’re also curious about who she’ll be and what she’ll do in the future. Doing the Future Me patch program together gives you both a glimpse into her future. Girl Scouts of Colorado teamed up with CollegeInvest to create this program to help younger Girl Scouts begin to explore their interests and discover their futures. Every Girl Scout who completes the program gets a free glow-in-the-dark patch! And that’s not all, caregivers can hop into the Google classroom and watch a pre-recorded webinar about CollegeInvest and you’ll get $100 in a CollegeInvest account for your Girl Scout.

The Future Me patch program is open to all Colorado Girl Scouts in K-5th grade. It's free and you'll find everything you need on our website under Anytime Activities > Council Patches . Your Girl Scout can get the free patch and $100 in a CollegeInvest plan -- all you have to do is complete the packet together then watch the 30 minute CollegeInvest pre-recorded webinar.

You may have noticed that our page name and cover photo have different troop numbers.
Your troop leader is dyslexic and switched some numbers around. Usually, knowing that I'm dyslexic, I am very careful and watch for this. However, this time it got me. I made an email, page, and Facebook group with the numbers wrong. I've changed the group and made a new email; however, Facebook won't let me change the page name because it is too new. I will watch for it and change it as soon as they allow it. In the meantime, we are Troop 43203, not 42303. Thank you for your understanding!

Welcome to Girl Scout Troop 42303 we are the first (and currently only) group in South Eastern Colorado Springs, serving our most underserved population of girls! ! If you have already joined our Troop, please make your way to the Private Group for us. If you aren't a member yet and want to join, please post "ME" below, and someone will contact you! We are looking for more Troop Leaders, Volunteers, and Girls! The GROUP is where our members can learn where our meetings are, when, and what we will be doing. We will also post meeting notes in the group for anyone who wasn't able to join the meeting so that you can keep up with what your girls are doing!
