"I named Doug after four time Iditarod champ Doug Swingley, the first musher from outside of Alaska to win "The Last Great Race on Earth". Named his mom Libby, after Libby Riddles, the first woman to win the Iditarod (1985), and his littermates after four time Iditarod champs Susan Butcher and Martin Buser, and Aliy Zirkle, the first female musher to win the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race (2000). Though these kitties started out with a bleak existence, they became WINNERS."

Max and Zeus have now spent three weeks at PetSmart, patiently waiting for someone to see just how special they are. These sweet boys are a bonded pair, which means they've spent their lives together and need to be adopted together.
Every day they watch families come and go, hoping their forever family is next. They have so much love, companionship, and joy to offer—twice the cuddles, twice the purrs, and twice the friendship.

For eleven years, Sammy was the only cat in the home, and his owner was his whole world. Because of that, he thrives on one-on-one companionship and loves being close to his person. He is affectionate, loyal, and enjoys the comfort of a calm, predictable environment.
At this stage in his life, Sammy deserves a quiet home where he can be the center of someone's attention. He would do best as the only cat in a low-key household where he can settle in at his own pace and build a special bond with his new family.

“I absolutely love people!” — and it shows. She’s super friendly, affectionate, and just wants to be close to her humans.
