BVB International Academy Colorado Springs (BVBIA-Colorado Springs) is proud to announce that we will play host to the 2026 BVBIA Western Regional School of Excellence (SOE) event this weekend, October 9–11. As one of only 24 official affiliates in North America and the Caribbean connected directly to legendary German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, BVBIA-Colorado Springs will bring over 200 elite youth soccer players and their families to the region for three days of high-level training, competition, and holistic player evaluation.

World-renowned as a “development-first” football club, Borussia Dortmund has established a global reputation for nurturing young talent through a holistic methodology that emphasizes character, technical precision, tactical intelligence, and physical literacy. The School of Excellence (SOE) program represents the pinnacle of this developmental pathway within North America. Designed as an elite identification and training platform, the annual SOE program brings together top-performing academy players to benchmark their progress, receive direct evaluation from national and international coaching staff, and advance through Borussia Dortmund’s official development pathway.

Good luck to all of the players, from our local athletes to those traveling in to the beautiful city of Colorado Springs! Heja BVB!
